Kindly be aware that the Call for Presentations is specifically not intended for a General Session. Furthermore, SAME does not offer any form of compensation for speakers who are chosen through this procedure. However, speakers who will be present at SBC solely on the day of their session will be granted a complimentary one-day registration. For speakers who plan to attend SBC for two or more days, they will be required to purchase a Speaker Full Conference Registration, which is available at a discounted rate. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to your participation.

The Small Business Conference (SBC) is a pillar of strength for small businesses across the full breadth of their journey. In recognition of this diverse community, we are on a quest to curate a series of sessions meticulously tailored to cater to these four distinct tracks, ensuring that our offerings resonate with and enrich the vast expanse of our audience.

  • Marketing and Business Development – What businesses need to understand about how to promote and position themselves, the uniqueness of selling to the government, and how to build brand awareness.

  • Regulations, Rules, and the Government Framework – Dedicated to empowering small businesses with the knowledge to adeptly maneuver through the dynamic and complex terrain of government legislation, regulatory mandates, and supportive programs.

  • Advanced Business and Procurement Strategies – A suite of sophisticated tactics designed for mature businesses aiming to achieve excellence and drive significant growth.

Before submitting, please review the CFP Resources page for more specifics on the types of sessions we’re looking for, speaker guidelines, and the abstract evaluation process. By submitting your abstract you have read and agree to the terms of the Speaker Agreement. 

Submit your abstract submission by Thursday, May 30, 2024. Each speaker may submit up to two (2) sessions for consideration.
