Call for Presentations

YOU are a small business expert and know what is critical to be successful. What can transform small businesses moving forward? What do small businesses need to know most NOW? Submit your fresh, forward-thinking ideas for the education and insights that businesses need to succeed in the Federal marketplace.

Please note, this Call for Presentations is not for a General Session and SAME does not provide compensation for speakers selected through this process. Speakers attending SBC the day of their session ONLY, will be provided a complimentary one-day registration. Speakers attending a total of two or more days at SBC will need to purchase a Speaker Full Conference Registration at a reduced rate.

The SBC serves small businesses across the spectrum – from those trying to get their foot in the door to those with many years of success winning in federal contracts. Therefore, we’re searching for sessions geared toward these four tracks to serve a broad audience:

  • Entering the Federal Marketplace – A guide to innovative promotion and strategic positioning for businesses venturing into federal contracts for the first time.
  • Marketing and Business Development – What businesses need to understand about how to promote and position themselves, the uniqueness of selling to the government, and how to build brand awareness.
  • Regulations, Rules, and the Government Framework – Dedicated to empowering small businesses with the knowledge to adeptly maneuver through the dynamic and complex terrain of government legislation, regulatory mandates, and supportive programs.
  • Advanced Business and Procurement Strategies – A suite of sophisticated tactics designed for mature businesses aiming to achieve excellence and drive significant growth.
Before applying, please review the Session Submission Resources page for more specifics on the types of sessions we’re looking for, speaker guidelines, and the abstract evaluation process. By submitting your abstract you have read and agree to the terms of the Speaker Agreement. 

Each speaker may submit up to two (2) sessions for consideration.
