SAME’s Small Business Conference will feature an SBA Clinic!
The Small Business Administration (SBA) will host a certification clinic at SBC! SBA team members will be available to meet one-on-one with small businesses that preregistered for the clinic. They will discuss a variety of topics including reviewing a pending application, questions about the SBA certification programs,the United Certification Platform, the Mentor Protege Program, contracting questions, and more!
If you are interested in SBA's certification programs or you have any questions about the status of your submitted application, you can register for the SBA Clinic and get answers to your questions from the SBA's Office of Government Contracting and Business Development. SBA certification programs/resource include:
- 8(a) Business Development Program
- Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) / Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) Program
- HUBZone Program
- Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) / Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Program
- Mentor Protégé Program
SBA Clinic Sign-Ups will open in October.
NOTE: SBA Clinic appointments are separate and different from Matched networking. You must be registered as a small business for SBC to participate in the SBA Clinic. When requesting an appointment, requestors must include the following information about the small business signing up for the SBA Clinic:- Company Name
- Company UEI
- Years in Business
- Primary NAICS
- Company City and State
- Company POC Name
- Company POC Contact information (phone and email)

How do I get an appointment for the SBA Clinic?Complete the sign-up form once it is available; sign-ups will open in October and will be available until appointments are full. here are limited appointments, and all appointments are on a first-come, first-served basis. It is advised to register as early as possible to secure a spot.
Can I participate in just the SBA Clinic and not the entire SAME Small Business Conference?
No. Only SBC full-conference registrants can participate (please note that one-day registrants do not qualify).
How many people from my company can participate in the SBA Clinic Appointment?
Due to limitations of space and logistics, only ONE individual from the small business can participate in the Clinic appointment. The SBA requests the small business owner, applicant or an executive who can best represent the small business to come to the appointment.
My small business applied for an SBA certification. Can I request an appointment at the SBA clinic?
Absolutely! All small businesses can request an appointment at the SBA Clinic; please indicate that you want to meet with the team regarding your application status. If you have a pending application, you can share the details to have a 1-1 appointment with SBA team to clarify the query and/or any other questions you may have.
